one of the most special places in my heart will always be saved for you…
YOU...
the one person i can always talk to.. the one person who understands…
YOU…
for making me laugh in the rain.. for helping me shoulder my troubles…
YOU…
for loving me in spite of myself and always putting me back on my feet again..
YOU…
for giving me someone to believe in..
someone who lets me know that there really is goodness and kindness
and laughter and love in the world…
YOU…
for being one of the best parts of my life…
and for proving it over and over again…
The three words that mean the most, I think, the ones that really hit the mark, and often in the most unexpected of ways, are “I miss you”. This is the sentence that sends the message right home. Because what other message is there? Nothing else, except exactly just that, “I miss you”, and everything else is pulled along into it, like a chain reaction. Unlike “I love you” and the lies that go along with it, “I miss you” is honest and sincere, you only say it when you mean it, and you don’t have to mean it in a big way to really mean it. Unlike “I want you” and its expectations, “I miss you” offers all it has, and waits for nothing in return. Unlike “I need you” and its desperate whines, “I miss you” stands on its own, a whole entity in just three words, devoid of arms that cling to you for life.
“I miss you” means everything and nothing, it is unflinching and honest. It is upbeat and simple, with wisps of longing and clouds of hope. You miss people you used to love, people you used to want, people you used to need. But most of the time the missing is all that’s left, and that’s OK, there’s nothing else you’d change. The missing implies a past that remains in its rightful place. Or it implies the reality and possibilities of the present. It is hope and love and lust and peace all at the same time. Some people say that when they met that person, it was akin to “coming home”. And missing is this manifestation of home-sickness, the way people return to their homelands to die, the way all the comfort the world has to offer is nothing compared to the feeling of being in someone’s arms.
And that’s why I miss you, because you’re not here, and because every time I think about you, that’s all that I think. I miss you, I miss you, I miss you, and the world turns for both of us, and I can’t wait until you come home.
someone sent me this quote this morning and i just wanna share this to my imaginary readers..hehehe!
Some says It is not DESTINY
that determines love.
It is CHOICE.
Our so called DESTINY is a lie.
Relationships last long
not because they're destined to last long.
Relationships last long because two
brave people made the CHOICE to keep it,
to fight for it, and to work for it.
Other relationships failed
not because they're destined to fail.
They failed because one of the two or both made
the CHOICE, "TO SET EACH OTHER FREE"
—–well.. may point sya ha..hehe! tungkol sa CHOICE.. i think whether in relationship, love, work, or anything else.. what ever happens, it's usually the product of the decisions we made.. pero para saken… "kung hindi ukol, hindi pa rin bubukol.." hehe.. my opinion on this things are indefinite.. whether it's destiny or choice… there are still things in life that we can't control nor understand.. and sometimes i think there are things that happen that we can't help, or that we don't really want.. but they had to.. so that someone would learn from it.. that way, we understand what faith means.. and that is something more profound than any destiny nor choice… whatever.. gawd! i hope im making any sense.. duh. may opinion pa kaseng nalalaman eh..haha!
After so long together.. so many words passed between you and him, and all the love you thought there could ever be was shared. you wake up out of this dream only to realize that the hand you reached for every morning is no longer there, as it never will be again. you wonder why God chose you to go through this nightmare, this pain of wanting someone you cant have back, and why everything; the love of your life ever said to you was all lies. He's found somebody else, and as your heart is breaking, his is being overtaken by her. but remember this..everyone has that one person out there, who will love you and cherish you until your dying day, and eventho it may not seem true now.. that day will come and you will realize that the man you were once inlove with was just a taste of everything to come in this new love. and the feeling of finally knowing youve found that one person will overturn the feeling of pain and sufferring. Learn to let go, and learn to trust again.. for if you live your life in wonder, that's wasted time of what could be passion, and happines, and if that happiness is wasted, its a moment never to be given back. Love life and live it to the fullest.
after a long illness, a woman died and arrived at the gates of heaven. While she was waiting for Saint Peter to greet her, she peeked through the gates. She saw a beautiful banquet table. Sitting all around were her parents and all the other people she had loved and who died before her. They saw her and began calling greetings to her — "hello" "how are you! We've been waiting for you!" "Good to see you."
When Saint Peter came by, the woman said to him, "This is such a wonderful place! how do i get in?"
"you have to spell a word". Saint Peter told her.
"which word?" the woman asked.
"Love"
The woman correctly spelled "love" and Saint Peter welcomed her into Heaven.
About six months later, Saint Peter came to the woman and asked her to watch the Gates of Heaven for him that day. While the woman was guarding the Gates of Heaven, her husband arrived.
"I'm surprised to see you," the woman said.. "how have you been?" "oh, I've been doing pretty well since you died.." her husband told her. "i married the beautiful nurse who took care of you while you were ill and died."
And then i won the lottery. I sold the little house you and I lived in and bought a big mansion. And my wife and I traveled all around the world.. We were on vacation and i went water skiing today. I fell, the ski hit my head and here I am. How do i get in?"
"You have to spell a word", the woman told him..
"which word?" her husband asked..
"czechoslovakia"
hehehe…
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree..Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy…
So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. Share this with other women who are good apples, even those who have already been picked!
And… Men?
Men are like a fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with…
i just saw the movie today on dvd and i was all teary-eyed in the end.. Adam Sandler made me cry?! boohoo! it's a dramedy about loss and healing..and (well, aside from the whole ‘hot chick wants to blow the dentist’ subplot) overall.. it's a weepy encounter. or sort of? well.. watch it, if you wanna see Sandler melodramatic portrayal..
Who's in it: Adam Sandler, Don Cheadle, Jada Pinkett Smith, Liv Tyler, Saffron Burrows, Donald Sutherland, Robert Klein, Melinda Dillon
What About: After losing his wife and kids in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Charlie (Adam Sandler) goes into a severe depression and retreats from the world. Luckily, he runs into his old college roommate, Alan (Don Cheadle), who feels sorry for his old friend and does his best to draw him back out.
Don Cheadle is Alan Johnson, a successful Manhattan dentist who sees his former roommate from college, Charlie (Adam Sandler, who looks like Bob Dylan’s lost son), riding down the street on a scooter. The disheveled Charlie doesn’t recognize Alan at first, which takes Alan by surprise. Eventually, Alan realizes that Charlie is merely repressing his memory: Charlie’s wife and three daughters were on the flight out of Boston on 9/11, and Charlie still hasn’t recovered from the loss. He flips between being non-responsive and violently angry, but Alan is the only person so far that seems able to get through to him. Charlie, however, is the least of Alan’s problems. He has a “stalker” at his practice (Saffron Burrows), and she’s making his business partners uncomfortable.
….. so hilarious!!
