Mga ateng napanod nyo na ba ang movie na itey?? i've seen the movie twice.. not because i like it so much, but just coz i have free tix to watch the movie twice..sayang naman diba..hehehe. anyway..

It's a love story revolving two characters namely; Basha and Popoy which is portrayed by two great actors.. John LLoyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo..well.. i'm really not a fan of Ms. Bea.. i actually hate the girl.. no reason. let's just say i'm such a hateful person..hehehe on the contrary..i loooove lloydie naman..as in.. dati crush ko si John Lloyd.. i remember when i was in college i follewed him inside a movie house sa makati and i sat at the back seat from where he was.. stalker na stalker ang dating.. But that's another story and before i get all carried away, here's a glimpse of what the movie was all about.. 

Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) have been together forever.

Their love story started when they met as students in a university and they have been inseparable ever since—they did everything together: Their families loved them, they shared friends, they eventually worked in the same firm and their life plans revolved around each other.

There is no Popoy without a Basha and vice versa. In short, they are certain that they would get married someday and build a home together literally and figuratively. Everything is perfect.

At least that is what Popoy thinks. until Basha decided to break up with him..

—hehe.. ayan mga ateng..panoorin nyo na lang yung movie.. i don't wanna be a spoiler for those who haven't watched it.. so i'm just gonna try to write my own review of the film.

First off, i'd like to commend on the spectacular acting skills given by John Lloyd Cruz.. ang galing talaga.. And Bea isn't so bad over all..the characters were so relatable.. including the character of Trisha which is portrayed by Maja Salvador who gave an even luster performance on the film over all.. The whole story was relatable in reality.. Couples who were young and have been together for so long as though inseparable as the two characters in the film..who both gave they're lives in the relationship but in the process loses they're own identities as individuals. it happens in real life and dumadating sa time sa isang couple na  masakal at magsawa dahil umiikot na lang ang mundo nila sa isat-isa.. hindi na sila naggo-grow..and at the same time pati yung relationship..I think that's one problem in a relationship that couples have a hard time dealing with..sometimes they fail to get this message across..and all the other reasons suddenly became so confusing.. sometimes, love is not enough..and when you no longer understand the point of being with each other..everything else will fall apart..that's why some couples feel they're sick and tired of the relationship..because at one point, one will feel as though the other one was getting in the way of they're own growth..and all the ugly feelings will rise on each occasion when you think your partner doesn't understand where youre coming from..and when things don't get better..eventually, they will wanna break up..  i can say so much because i've been there..trust me, things can get really ugly..that's why i like the movie because it was almost real to me..And i guess that's why i find the pain in all three characters relatable as well. The pain in holding on..and letting go.. and loving so much. because that kind of pain is transcendence..and it breaks my heart watching the movie.. O.A. ba?? hehehe..I guess it's safe to say that the story line was simply moving.. There was no doubt that it was a love story..although I also find the entire film funny.. well..i thought it was meant to be funny talaga coz even with all the drama..i can't help but notice how many times the line "Basha" was used in the film..it was irritatingly funny..then again, maybe that's just m..so the verdict is..Over all, the movie is OKAY..considering i hate Bea Alonzo. hahaha.

◊when it comes to relationships, many of us had trouble understanding the opposite sex and what really makes a relationship work. i am no certified guru to tell you all that. let's leave that to the experts, maybe Dr. Phil? or Oprah? who the fuck ever..better yet, the womens magazines.. but for now, i just wanna share  a thing or two that i've learned from past relationships which brought me to list a couple of rules in finding my own happy ending..(i have to admit this is not entirely true.) i've had my moments..but in reality, it's not always sunshine and vanilla all through the end, the roads aren't as smooth as the freeway..there's always boulders along the way..but then again..i guess you already know that. so..let's just proceed to these rules:

5 relationship rules: 

Rule#1: Listen to your friends

While some of us may have found our prince, once or twice we have to admit we've had bad relationships in the past and like many of us, we hardly listen to our friends telling us to dump his sorry ass. Noooo! i also had a pretty evil person in my life..All my friends were going, RUN! and i was like, "but i love him,.yada, yada.." Of course, my friends turned out to be right.. and like other women who've been caught in the clutches of an evil ex..we could only wished we learned our lesson.. so, i guess it's safe to say that if your man doesn't get along with your friends..there's no time to waste; run away from him. lol.. 

Rule#2: Give everyone a chance

Being picky doesn't necessarily leads you to finding your perfect mate and some are picky because they don't wanna settle for anything less. Guess what ladies..it's not really about that. I really don't agree with all the boundaries we put on everything. Women are forever discounting men for all sorts of silly reasons– too old, too young, wrong haircut? I say, give a guy a chance and he may surprise you. I have my moments where i've been pleasantly surprised by my choices and i've always had plenty of choice.i really don't believe the whole 'there are no decent men out there' thing.. Get real! there are loads of gorgeous guy in every street corner..So quit moaning about the man drought and give the next guy who asks you out a chance..

Rule#3: Never underestimate your own power:

You know what they say; the best thing about being a woman is the power we have over men.. learn to use it..be comfortable within yourself..do not be afraid to use feminine traits to your own advantage. Ditch whatever insecurities you have..when your confident about yourself, you become desirable to every man on the planet.

Rule#4: Have a sense of humor:

Sense of humor is a big part of personality and it helps a relationship work. Being a clown is more entertaining than sitting there looking beautiful..We all know men are visual maniacs..but having big boobies and tight ass..or pretty face..isn't the only thing that attracts these species.. men loves women who can make them laugh.. Remember: laughter is the greatest reward of being alive and little can compare to the feeling of a deep, complete, heartfelt laughing spell.. life is good when laughter is frequent. And so does in relationship..

Rule#5: A great sex life is important:

I don't know how else i can say this without some of you questioning my values or moral foundation..you hypocrites..hehehe.pish! Let's not make a big deal on moral issues here. Premarital or within the sanctity of marriage..a great sex life is important in every relationship.. Sexual chemistry is as important as making your partner laugh.. Physical closeness helps both partners feel more secure and comfortable about each other.. We like sex because it makes us feel desirable by our partners. In the old days, we say, it is an expression of love.. this is still true, sex is even more better when you do it with the one you love.. So how do we get to this important part in the relationship as steamingly great as our first orgasms? i say, practice makes it perfect.lol. hehehe..do it as often as you can..hahaha.. and be adventurous..others, like it soft, slow and gentle, well..you can always add a little something extra to spice it up.. like using a scarf maybe? and getting you all tied up. And when youre in that space of passionate screwing..then hallelujah! go on with your bad self.. and sex actually helps resolve certain intimacy issues within a relationship..

Mabuhey!!!

I'm pretty sure you are all familiar with the song "Manila".. and as the lyrics goes..there is no place in the world like manila..ang ingay mong kay sarap sa tenga..mga jeepney mong nagliliparan, at mga babae mong nagagandahan..  Sama mo na rin ang mga bugaw sa kanto ng ermita, mga nagniningning na ilaw ng mga beerhouse..mga holdaper at mandurukot, mga nagkalat na bentahan ng droga at mga pirated na paninda,  ang malawakang red tape, at matinding kahirapan, sandamukal na basura at mga baradong drainage, at ang masangsang na amoy ng bulok na sistema ng gobyerno.. Simply no place like that..but i still love Manila despite it's obvious and perhaps incurable flaws..and i love my kapwa pinoys and how we can still keep our sense of humor and joke about our imperfections. eka nga sa commercial, "walang ganyan sa states!" There's a lot of bad things that's happening everywhere, but lets not dwell on that, marami ring mga magagandang bagay at magagandang tanawin na makikita dito..at bukod sa marami pa rin naman ang may mabubuting budhi na naninirahan dito, mabibilib ka sa mga abilidad ng mga pinoy na alawin ang mga sarili nila.priceless eka nga. and no one can resist the delicious and exotic foods that only Manila's finest carinderias can offer. Plus ang daming magagaleng na talents mapasinger o dancer, o artista, pangworld class ang dating talaga. mabibilib ka..I can actually make a list of the things i love about Manila,pero baka kulangin ako sa space dito, hindi pa kasama yung mga ibang lugar sa Pinas nyan.. needless to say, i am just proud to be Pinoy and i am happy that i was born here.. and despite the fact that a lot of bad things have been said about my people and my government..the fact that most of my family and friends are here.. it's my HOME. and that is something in this place that makes me happy and gives me hope..

Mariang Naliligaw: Josko! ewan ko sayo.. dyan na yan nagsisimula sa mga mababaw na dahilan.. at gaya ng sabe ko dati, palala lang ng palala ang mangyayari pag ganyan kayo lage..

Mariang sawi: Totoo ka dyan! umabot na nga kame sa physikalan.. hinampas ako ng bag ko! ayan (turo sa nagfafade ng pasa sa kamay) grabe, namaga pa yan.. sobrang nashock ako nun nagawa nya yun saken!! 

Mariang Naliligaw: (nakisimpatiya) gago yun ah.. hindi ka naman naunang nanakit? 

Maria Sawi: minura ko pamilya nya kaya yun, nahampas ako!

Mariang Naliligaw.. ganon.. dahil lang dun? kung sabagay overprotective sa pamilya nya yun.. tapos ano nangyari?

Mariang Sawi.. ewan.. basta putcha inayawan nya ko! in my face.. sabi nya, "di ko akalain magmamahal ako ng babaeng may sira sa ulo!"

Mariang Naliligaw: hehe. natawa ko dun ah.. ano ba kase pinaggagawa mo?

Mariang Sawi: wala lang.. sobrang inis ko sa kanya.. naisip ko na nga iskandaluhin pamilya nya eh.. pero di ko ginawa.. Tinatawagan ko bahay nya, tapos pag may sumagot, pinapakinggan ko lang sabay baba na.. pero may one time, pag sagot ng anak nya pinagtripan ko..nagsalita ko "nyeh. nyeh. nyeh nyeh.." sabay tawa!

Mariang Naliligaw: Eh sira naman pala talaga ulo mo! hehehe! ewan ko sayo, nababaliw ka na mare! alam mo lalo lang magagalit sayo yun. at lalo lang mawawalan ng respeto syo yun.

Mariang Sawi: lalo ko talaga syang gagalitin! inagrabyado nya ko eh! lintik lang walang ganti!

Mariang Naliligaw: Josko! kung yung first time pa lang kase na inagrabyado ka na.. di mo na binalikan, eh di hindi mo na sana nararanasan ulit yan..

Mariang Sawi: eh.. kase.. ewan.. alam mo naman ang dali ko lang naman maamo.. hayup na yun..  sulit naman sya sken! sinamba ko sya! kulang na lang halikan ko paa nya! gago sya tapos aayawan nya lang ako! potah, pagupit kaya ko ng maigsing maigsi kase mahal na mahal nun buhok ko! siguro ang tindi ng galit nun lalo!

Mariang Sawi: Grabe din mga binitawan nyang salita sken! hayup yun! hilig nyang sabihin ang landi ko daw! ang hilig ko daw magpacute sa mga kaibigan nya.. putcha! sabi ko nga eh kung magpakan@#$ kaya ko dun isa isa para may basehan mga bintang nya! tapos sabi nya, eh di pakan@#! ka! leche ka!  Grabe noh.. ganon na kame katindi magbastusan sa salita!

Mariang naliligaw: josko! di ko alam ano advice pwede ko sabihin.. nasabi ko na yata lahat. diba alala mo naman kung pano din ako naverbally abuse ni ex dodong gago? sa mall pa.. kung sigaw sigawan ako ng tanga dati! pero matagal din bago ko naumpog.. kaya mare.. kung ako syo umpisan mo na ngayon pa lang iuntog sarili mo!! kase mas marami pang dadating na mas masasakit hanggat di nyo pa tigilan yang relasyong ganyan!!

Mariang Sawi: Tama ka dyan! ayoko na talaga! hayup yun! infernes, swabe din naman yun magalaga.. walang katulad din naman magasikaso yun saken kaya ewan ko.. parang pakiramdam ko ako talaga may kasalanan.. naprovoke ko lang sya!

Mariang Naliligaw: (nabubuang na sa usapan talaga) naku ayan ka na naman eh! jujustify mo yun mali nya, mumurahin mo yung tao, sasabihin mong ayaw mo na sa kanya tapos babawiin mo..

Mariang sawi: eh tinxt ko nga kanina eh..di sumagot.. try ko tawagan, naka-off. hayup na yun.

Mariang Naliligaw:  ay ewan ko syo. wag ka na nga magkwento saken! ang gulo mong kausap. hehehe

Mariang Sawi: badtrip toh. para lang akong tanga.. mayat' maya nagcheck ng phone sa txt or tawg nya..tapos walang dumadating.. ano ba gagawin ko..

(tuloy ang paulit ulit na ganitong usapan hanggang sa nabaling sa food ang attention at sa crowd.. may cute na dumating. ang sarap ng food. etc.)

Ay naku..mahaba pa sya actually pero gusto ko na tapusin.. mahaba pa yung kwento, kase alam mong di pa tapos yung gaguhang relasyon na yun. oo. nakakabaliw na usapan.  lahat tayo may kabaliwan..may baliw sa pera, yung iba sa pananampalataya,  yung iba naman sa pag-ibig. lahat tayo dumadating sa puntong nahihibang..mahirap masabi agad kung sino ang tunay na nasisiraan ng bait..mahirap magjudge. mahirap maintindihan kahet nakakarelate ako sa pinangagalingan ng senaryong ito. Kahet pinagdaanan ko din ang paulit ulit na pangaabuso at mangabuso. ang pananakit at pagiging sawi. Pero kelangan lumaya sa ganitong eksena. kelangan mong magkaron ng lakas ng loob na makawala sa ganitong kwento. bago pa mawalan ng respeto ang ibang tao sayo at bago ka pa tuluyang mawalan ng respeto sa sarili mo. Mahirap man ang pagdadaanan mo, mahirap man ang mga paraan na kailangan mong gawin, kailangan mong sumugal at lumaya sa ganitong kabaliwan..
